Prior experience with technology

          My comfort level with certain types of technology varies.  I would say that I am most comfortable with cell phones because I use mine all the time, but I am least comfortable with mostly computers and anything else, those types of technology tend to be confusing for me.  I am very comfortable though with learning new technology if given the right directions.  As I mentioned before I use my cell phone on a regular basis and I use it for everything, like with communicating through text or email or through social medias, and I also use my cell phone to do everyday tasks (looking up information on the internet, directions, researching what to do, etc…). 
          I think technology in the classroom can be extremely useful and helpful in certain situations.  If used the right way I think technology can be very beneficial to the students in the classroom and show the students a different way to learn.  I think it would be nice if there was a technology or computer class as well as classroom guidance, but having a separate class for just technology would help the students even more just in case there was ever confusion from the teacher in the classroom. 
          In EDCT 2030 I would like to learn some effective ways to incorporate technology into an early childhood classroom.  I would also like to learn about different ways that children in a classroom can use technology with the teacher so there is more interaction between everyone. One last thing is that I hope to become more knowledgeable with technology, especially on the computer.
